I have suffered from genetic problems all of my life. About 2 years ago while I was pregnant, my teeth started to break off. I was horrified to smile. Unless you experience dental problems yourself, it’s hard to appreciate the significance of smiling everyday. I knew I had to get something done but I was too embarrassed to see a dentist.

One day, I heard an ad on the radio for a dentist, Joe Theisen, that stated they were non-judgmental, so I decided to bite the bullet and go in. I was very emotional on my first visit as I was so scared of being ridiculed for my teeth. The staff and Dr. Theisen were completely understanding and comfortable to talk to. I never once felt judged.

I had a lot of dental work done at the beginning of January 2007 and I can not explain in words how fantastic I feel. The surgery went great. I was nervous I would be in pain but I never once had any pain during or after the procedure.

Not only did the surgery make my smile 100% better, but I’m also more aware of my health and better eating habits. I used to drink several servings of soda every day. Since the surgery, I have not drank any soda. I never thought that would be possible.

I can finally smile everyday without covering my mouth. It was a liberating experience and I strongly recommend any patient to see Dr. Theisen and his staff. They are wonderful to work with. I am completely elated with my experience.
